Questionable Conviction

Waiting for Answers Years Later

Missing Evidence

On September 2, 2015, what happened?

No one was hurt, shot, or injured, besides Cullen Parsons.

Ever since that night, Cullen has been robbed of this 20's and sits as his 30's deteriorate.

This is his case (nightmare). These are the inconsistencies in his case.

Cullen's Case

Inconsistencies. Perjury. Weird.

One of the most concerning factors of this case is the amount of inconsistencies.

Why? Incompetence or corruption?

Criminal Informant

A deal remained undisclosed & withheld from the defense team, resulted in

the release of the CI, with a lengthy record.

This is a Brady Violation.

The CI interviews and testimony differs.

Criminal Informant Cell Records

The CI & Cullen were in different cell blocks at the time of the "interaction". The supposed interaction took place on 9/7 or 9/8 (last Monday or Tuesday).

Cullen was in the DM unit from 9/3 @1:31am- 9/4 @10:33 am, only 33 hours.

Rolando was in the DM Unit from 8/18 - 10/1.

Cullen spent his first hours in the infirmary being monitored carefully for head trauma,  recovering from injuries he reported happened during his arrest and transport.

The following evidence was withheld by the prosecution:

Appeals Process

The 3rd District has ruled in our favor several times only to return the power back to Henry County.

The most recent example, Judge Rosebrook ruled that we had found new evidence but considered the cell records inconsequential, despite Cullen & Rolando not being in the same cell block during the supposed interaction.

Is this an over step?

It is under current appeal.  We are waiting for the decision from a hearing held on September 9th, 2025.

Public Records Not Provided

Henry County has been less than cooperative, professional, and forthcoming when it comes to public records. We have had to esclate to filing a writ of mandamus, twice, to force them to comply with public records requests. The Henry County Sheriff required us to pay $585 for these records, the check was personally delivered on 5/22/25 and cleared on 5/28/25. The initial records request was in early 2024.

Misuse of Power ?

Cullen was immediately arrested at gun point without questioning. Cullen also reported being hit several times in the head by Sheriff Bodenbender during the arrest and additional injuries experienced later during his transport to the Henry County Hospital. When Zach Lyne alerts the Sheriff to the accusation, Sheriff  Bodenbender is silent and then the recorded call conveniently "disconnects". On the subsequent call, Sheriff Bodenbender laughs about it.

Cullen Holding Cell Henry Co.

As mentioned above, Cullen reports that he was injured by Sheriff Bodenbender. His softball sized injury to the back of his head, which still exists today, you can see was non-existent in this video. Cullen was also injured when getting in to the ambulance.

This is the holding cell footage Henry County provided us.

Are some of Cullen's steps missing?

Henry County Hospital claims no evidence of head trauma however it is noted numerous times just hours later by CCNO medical staff.

EMT Report Patient Narrative

Numerous people cite that Cullen was drunk, however when tested, his blood alcohol level was .074 & the EMT report states "Pt was speaking clearly".
